Rain in Paris

We are only in day 2 of our trip, but so far it's been raining on and off.  And, the rain is unlike what I've seen before....seems like what tropical rain would be like.  One minute it's beautiful and sunny and the next minute a dark cloud rolls in and it's starts torrentially downpouring.  It's actually kind of neat.  And, given that it's been a heat wave at home, I've been enjoying the cooler weather and don't even mind the grey skies.  It's nice to not be sweating.  However, I'm realizing that despite my efforts to pack wisely, I didn't quite pack the right things, but we have enough layers to get by.
