American Cemetery at Omaha Beach (videos)

These videos capture the mood at Omaha Beach better than photos.  Some of the videos capture the sounds of the wind and the National Anthem and Taps playing in the background.

It's hard to believe that there are over 9,000 American soldiers buried here.  The headstones have the name, rank, division, home state and date of death....some on June 6, 1944, but many dated a few days/months later.  Suprisingly, we also saw some graves dated in 1943 and a few "unknown" markers.
