House Hunters International - Strasbourg

I can only take credit for detective work in finding the 3rd house from this episode of House Hunters International that inspired our trip here.

The 2nd apartment was easy to find because it is across the canal from our apartment.  In fact the boat tour begins directly across the canal from this building.

This morning while walking around the canal that circles central Strasbourg, Gina saw what she thought was the apartment in the first building that Felipe and Blandine looked at.  We came back from our walk and confirmed that by re-watching the episode.

We knew the 3rd choice would be more difficult, as it was outside of the city center.  You would think that this would be a Gina mission, but for whatever reason, I felt driven to find out. What made it possible to find was the fact that it is the apartment that they ultimately picked.  I did some googling and saw that they offer their apartment as a place for people to stay for a small fee.

Finding the location on the internet did not satiate our curiosity.  We wanted to take a tram ride anyway to get an idea of what the suburbs are like, and this provided us with an interesting destination.  It was very easy to get to, and provided a great ending for our last day in Strasbourg (we leave tomorrow morning).
